workshops across London with Crafting Joy
I am an art teacher with Crafting Joy, who offer creative events for community groups, children and family parties, and corporate team building events, with an ethos of connecting people with their innate creativity, holding space for people to build their creative confidence, connect with others and nurture their wellbeing. I facilitate their workshops in a range of mediums, from watercolour painting to jewellery making, always with a focus on accessibility for all levels and a welcoming environment. children's bees workshop with Rosetta Arts
This workshop was delivered in collaboration with Rosetta Arts as part of their Urban Gardening project, working with a local primary school to explore care for our environment through creative making. Following a planting session led by another practitioner, my workshop invited children to reflect on nature and community through art.
Using prints of local wildflowers and bees, students created their own imagined wildflower gardens through collage and colour. Each child then contributed a hand-made flower or bee to a large collaborative artwork, symbolising the interconnectedness of ecosystems—and the ways human communities can mirror this care and cooperation.
As in all my workshops, the session was rooted in values of accessibility, inclusivity, and creative freedom. Designed to meet a range of learning needs, the space encouraged gentle behavioural support, flexibility, and personal agency. Through open-ended making and shared storytelling, students were supported to build confidence, take part meaningfully, and connect with one another through the process.

spring equinox with wedontknowwhatthisis
As we walked across Hackney Marshes at a misty 5.39am, 20th March, dark and light delicately balanced behind pink clouds and 𝘴𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 was activated through sunrise parade for the 2025 spring equinox.
Made for wedontknowwhatthisis sunrise gathering (taking place every equinox and solstice on Hackney Marshes), the flag invites ritual of holding up to the sun to allow it to pass through, honouring the cycle and marking our journey in the rhythm of the cosmos. Echoing the alignment of stone henge with the solstice sun, suncatcher allows us to reconnect with the seasons and each other, working together to hold the flag up to the sky in a simple act of re-enchantment.
Something ancient within us,invites us to gather, look at that star, and be together.
