“Before the tool that forces energy outward, we made the tool that brings energy home”
- Ursula K Le Guin, The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction
Viola Vessels is my capsule for my ceramics practice and cocoons of connection - facilitating space for people to come together and reconnect with the earth, the cosmos, and community.

Ceramics is an anchor in my art practice, a dance between the hands and the four elements.
Each vessel carries traces of the hand and the earth, encouraging moments of pause, ritual, and re-enchantment in daily life.
Influenced by the Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction I understand the vessel as that which holds: a container not only for food, flowers, or flame, but also for story, memory, energy.
Through Viola Vessels, I seek to re-enchant the home as a site of care, wonder, and earth magic, and hold space for this energy in communal gatherings.
workshops and gatherings
My creative practice extends into shared spaces for gathering, connection, and collective care. Through workshops, reading groups, and events, I invite participants to explore, create, and reflect together...
